Appliqué instructions:

* Always read the individual design info first - it will also include the color chart for your design.  This text file will come with all designs *

* Hoop the background fabric and appropriate stabilizer.

* Color #1:
Stitches the first outline/s on the background fabric = this is the placement line over which to put the Appliqué fabric.

* Remove the hoop from the machine without removing or moving the fabric.
   Place the Appliqué fabric/s on top of the outline stitches so that they are covered.
   Optional: Spray adhesive can be applied to keep the fabric in place.

* Color #2 (can be the same color thread as #1 - no need to change threads):
   Put the hoop back in the machine and stitch the second outline stitches = Tacking of the appliqué fabric in place.

* Remove the hoop from the machine again without removing or moving the fabric.
   Carefully trim the excess of the Appliqué fabric as close to the outline stitch as possible.
   Be very careful not to move the hooped background fabric or to cut into it.

* Put the hoop back in the machine and stitch the remaining colors and part/s of the design.

Optional:
* If available, Embroidery software can be used to print a design on paper which then can be used as a template for     easier placement.  The same template can also be used to cut the Appliqué fabric into shape prior to placement for stitching.  However, if software or a printer is not available and you need a template, then please stitch a test design first, cut it to shape and use it as a template.
