Appliqu instructions:

* Hoop the background fabric and stabilizer.

* Color #1: Stitch the first outline stitch on the hoped background fabric. This is the appliqu fabric placement line.

* Remove the hoop from the machine without removing the fabric. Place the appliqu fabric on top the outline so that it is covered. You can use some spray adhesive to keep the fabric in place if you wish.

* Color #2: Can be the same color thread as #1. Put the hoop back in the machine and stitch the second outline stitch which is the tacking line. If there isn't a second outline stitch in the design, press the back button on your embroidery machine to start stitching color #1 again.

* Remove the hoop from the machine again and carefully trim the excess of the appliqu fabric as close to the outline stitch as possible. Be very careful not to move the hooped background fabric or to cut into it.

* Put your hoop back in the machine and stitch the remaining parts of the design.

* You can also print the design on paper and cut templates accordingly for easier placement and to cut your appliqu fabrics into shape in advance.

Congratulations - It's ready!
